This sketchbook had a raw canvas surface and I painted and drew the above design.
It represents my left hand and Laurie's right hand merging, overlaid by a celtic knot with two interlocking strands representing each of us, the two 'glow-in-the-dark' stars are our interlocking souls.
Laurie has been my loving wife for over 25 years and now my Business Partner

Because I'm Left handed most of my sketchbooks open on the left rather than the conventional right
it makes it easier to draw when your hand/wrist does not bush over the spine of the book.
